Dr. Taylor Armstrong is a psychiatrist, and works at The George Hull Centre, a children’s mental health organization located in the west end of Toronto. He attended Princeton University for his undergraduate education, and then completed medical school and his residency at The University of Toronto. He has his subspecialty designation in child and adolescent psychiatry, and in addition to his expertise in this area, he has an interest in supporting the mental health of high performance athletes, and is involved in various aspects of medical education. As an assistant professor with the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Armstrong serves as a teacher and supervisor for medical students and psychiatry residents, and has led initiatives as part of program planning and curriculum design.

Dr. Armstrong lives with his wife and two children in Toronto, and spends his other time writing, taking his dog for walks, helping with homework, coaching baseball, and whenever he can, working to improve an unreliable backhand on the tennis courts.

The online schedule does not allow you schedule appointments with LiveActive physicians as we require important information like your health card prior to your appointment. However, by setting up an online profile, you will be able to review any test results in your individual patient profile. Your billing summary and receipts will be recorded there should you need to re-submit something to your insurance company or prepare your medical expenses during tax season. The online portal ensures the privacy of your information with bank grade encryption and adherence to HIPAA and PIPEDA laws and requirements.
