Biography of Heather Robinson
Heather Robinson is a Registered Kinesiologist and Certified Athletic Therapist with over 20 years experience working with patients at all levels of physical ability. She completed her undergraduate degree in Physical Education at Brock University and went on to graduate from the Sport Injury Management Program at Sheridan College.
Throughout her training and in the years that followed, Heather has worked with many teams and sporting events including hockey, basketball, volleyball and soccer. In 2015, she had the opportunity to work at the PanAm games in Toronto as a medical volunteer.
Heather has been fortunate to have the opportunity to provide many speaking opportunities to the public as well as medical professionals and held an instructor’s role at the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning for over 10 years. She has additional training in Osteoporosis management through her Bonefit training as well as being a Nordic Pole Walking instructor. Her regular and ongoing clinic duties include patient education, exercise prescription and custom and off-the-shelf orthopedic bracing.
