LiveActive Sport Medicine is proud to announce the addition of two new members to our growing team. Kaitlin Phillips, a physiotherapist, and Dr. Taylor Pratile, a chiropractor are now available for appointments. The growth of our medical team facilitates evening and weekend appointments, reduces wait times, and bolsters our osteoarthritis and concussion programs. Kaitlin brings a background in strength and conditioning, movement, and excellent manual skills. Taylor provides manual therapy treatments, acupuncture, and is a trained concussion specialist. Both Kaitlin and Taylor join LiveActive after very successful sporting careers in soccer and football, having represented their respective universities in varsity play.

Kaitlin Phillips

Kaitlin Phillips Etobicoke PhysiotherapistKaitlin Phillips completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at Western University in London, Ontario in 2017. She received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Cumberland University in Tennessee while playing varsity soccer. She recently became a National Champion soccer player, competing in Canada Soccer’s Toyota National Championships.

Kaitlin Phillips completed her ACSM personal training certification; adding to her skillset in treating athletes. Kaitlin has taken manual therapy courses including Soft Tissue Release, Mulligan’s Mobilization with Movement, and the Orthopedic Level 1 Certification. In the future, she would like to receive her Acupuncture/IMS and Concussion Management certifications.

Dr. Taylor Pratile

Dr. Taylor Pratile Etobicoke ChiropractorDr. Taylor Pratile graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Health & Education from Wilfrid Laurier University. While at Laurier he was a member of the varsity football team. Dr. Pratile went on to further his passion for health care, graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Currently, he looks to continue his education while completing his Master of Science (MSc) degree from McMaster University with a focus on Concussions.

After a long career in competitive sports, Dr. Pratile’s clinical focus is injury management and prevention. Also, Dr. Pratile is passionate about concussion education, concussion treatment and management, and post-concussion care. He is actively involved in research, alongside LiveActive sports chiropractor, Dr. Cameron Marshall, through his work with Complete Concussion Management Inc. Dr. Cameron Marshall is the founder and acting president of Complete Concussion Management.
